Bittersweet Encounter

No Regrets   

I thought that life with you on this earth was bad enough

That is why I had to say goodbye

That is why I had to let go     

Until I experienced hell countless times since you left

I realized that life with you on this earth had been heaven after all

But I cannot regret

Because there is no way to bring back the past

I cannot regret

Since you have already probably forgotten about me

I can take pain, hurt, guilt and anger

But I should not, will not take regret

I refuse to admit that I regretted what I did

For there is no way to bring back heaven after all...
